After years of working as an interior designer, Jennifer Balcos has opened an art gallery bearing her name. Leveraging her relationships with established and emerging artists from across the country, the gallery occupies the former Circa Lighting space in Buckhead
, which the gallerist calls “raw and homey,” with aged wooden floors, natural light, and white walls. “I bought my first ‘fine art’ piece at the age of 19, a Salvador Dalí signed and numbered lithograph,” she tells AD PRO. Now, she says, “I place art as I see it. From time to time, clients can stumble upon unique antique furniture and sculpture pieces in the gallery,” adding that, in addition to represented artists, she occasionally sells special pieces on consignment.
